I was so excited for this top. I wanted to love it. It looks so cute on the photos. But in person...unfortunately, not so much for me.FABRIC AND DRAPE:The fabric is a thin polyester with a stiffer drape than I would have thought, given the flowy nature of the garment. It is definitely polyester. Some are better at hiding it, this is not one of them. For some reason, the company decided to use white or cream thread for all of the stitches rather than navy or even red. This cheapens the overall look of the garment. Serged stitching on the inside is definitely white. The navy has more of a warm hue to it and the red is definitely a warm hue--we're talking much closer to an orange-red than what I expected. Again, this color combination cheapens the overall appearance of the garment. The ties are long and have tassles at the ends--which are inexplicably made from black cotton yarn (?)--about the weight of embroidery thread. They'd be super easy to cut off, however, without damaging the ties in any way.FIT:I am a 38DD and generally order an XL in shirts. This was not unwearably snug around the bust, but snugger on me than I would prefer given the fit of the rest of the garment. The wrists are what feels like either 1/8" or 1/4" elastic encased in the gathered sleeve hem. If you prefer your tops to have a 3/4 sleeve, it would be very easy to push up on your arms. I have small wrists, the sleeve at the wrist is large enough on me where I was able to comfortably fit both wrists in one sleeve without stretching the elastic.I'm about 5'7" with a long torso (I have to lengthen my sewing patterns when I make them by about 3" each time)--the bottom hem of this lands about 2-3" below my hip bones. At the neckline, it gives about 1" of cleavage if someone is looking at me straight on, and not enough to be obscene from above. In some office environments, a lace cami underneath would be enough to handle any concerns with dress code. Most office environments I think would be fine.IS IT HOT (temperature-wise)?It's currently 77F in my house with ceiling fans on. I'm not uncomfortable, even with the sleeves down at full length, but I'm also not cool and I don't really feel the breeze from the fan through the fabric.WORK APPROPRIATE?Yes.CASUAL APPROPRIATE?I wouldn't personally wear this in a casual setting, but maybe for like an outdoor office party where you don't want to be fully dressed down?WOULD I BUY AGAIN?Unfortunately, no. Maybe it would have been cuter in a different color, though.I hope this review was helpful! This top is an alright blouse for the price: nice design and print, not the best quality materials. I like blouses with large floral prints and this one delivered on the punchiness. As other reviewers have mentioned, the red of the flowers is not a muted orange as shown in the photos, but more of a vibrant tomato red. This works for me so I was not disappointed, but other customers may be expecting something different. The blouse in size medium fits me perfectly (size 8-10, 5'7", 152 lb). It is quite comfortable with the loose fit. The polyester fabric is not my favorite, though. It feels a bit plastic-y relative to other similar polyesters, and is not breathable. On a hot day, this will make you quite sweaty. This is ultimately not a bad choice of blouse if you like the colors and the print, but you get what you pay for with this price. Overall I do enjoy the shirt, just wish the fabric was a bit more breathable.I chose this top because I needed a new upgrade in clothing for medical school. This is the perfect thing for me to wear during my patient interactions. The material (100% polyester) is very light and thin. It has a very odd feeling, maybe slightly plastic-like? However, because of the colors of the blouse, it is not see-through. The material seems iffy, and I wonder how the pattern will hold up in the wash.I ordered a size small (normally wear medium) and I am 5ā3 and weigh about 140. The size feels just right, and has no issues with it being tight around the shoulders/upper arms which I sometimes experience with these types of blouses.Despite the material, I really like how the top looks. Iād recommend others to purchase. This is a pretty loose, flowy top. I got my regular size but it looks somewhat oversized on me. The material is decent, so is the print. I like the color combination. Comfortable to wear all day long at work. Can be worn tucked in or loose over pants or a skirt. The strings at the neck are pretty long. The tassels at the ends are a nice touch. Easy to wash in the W/D with like items. Not the material I was expecting...its a little thicker polyester. No flow to the fabric. The colors are a pretty orange/red flowers on a darker blue. I ordered a large as I'm 5ā10 175 lbs. and my bust measurement is 43"(around the back and across the fullest part of the bust). An X-Large would've definitely fit better. Sleeves also run short and the tie strings are very long with cheap looking black tassels on the ends. I rated a 3 for the fit and those tacky tassels! This top was really cute, I can't wait to dress it up with some red heels I like the way it fits and hangs. The fabric doesn't feel to cheap, u can definitely produce a really cute outfit in this top. This top was a mediumIt has a very flattering slim fit with long sleeves, I recommend it with jeans and with elegant pants, it doesn't wrinkle. The stitch is delicate and the finishes on the hands are comfortable. My Mama passed away recently and her favorite flowers were orange-red Poppies. These are so artfully done. The fabric is luxe and soft. This is a beautifully made top. I got a 2XL which is typically slightly small on me. It is a bit small at the moment but it's my goal shirt. I can't wait to wear it.
