Would have given it a 5 but the middle stalk was broken at the base.I had a live plant like this and it was not doing very good. I replaced it with the silk palm tree. Everyone that comes over thinks my plant is doing so good now. They think it is real.Overall, I am very pleased with this. The only complaint is the way it was packaged bent the end of some of the leaf tips and I haven’t been able to straighten them out. On very close inspection you see it is an artificial plant but compared to the parade of live plants that didn’t always look that good, messed up the floor and took time and care, I prefer this. No one has noticed or commented on the exchange of the live Palm to a fake one.As I first removed it from the box, it looked incredibly skimpy;I almost stuffed it right back in the box. Then I gave it a day or two to "relax" it's branches and realized it looked very natural. It's not as full/plush as (I think) the picture depicts it to be, but it is a nice looking plant and I decided to keep it.This silk palm is a very-life like. Most visitors to my home believe the palm is real. The palm takes a little "fluffing" when it comes out of the box to give a full look. In my opinion this silk plant would look better if it were grouped with other plants, silk or real. The price I paid wasn't a steal, but it was fair.I was a bit skeptical about ordering a silk plant, especially one that is so large. This was package very nicely and arrived in very good condition. It is very tall being 6' and it look great right out of the packaging. I placed it in a beautiful ceramic pot with Spanish moss over the base and it is absolutely beautiful! The branches relaxed just enough to look real and the the color is spot on! One reason I ordered this product is because the name "Nearly Natural" and indeed it is very natural looking including the stem of the plant.Love these!After purchasing 3 live palms over the years for my office only to watch them die either from the cold or heat, I decided to try an artificial palm. The Areca Silk Palm Tree was far more that I anticipated looking more real than my living palms of the past. I put the Areca Palm in a larger ceramic pot as the one that came with it seemed a bit small and needed a larger, heavier base to stabilize it. Todos lucen tal como la foto, no se han desteñido (a una si le da sol directo y todo bien), otra la han tirado mis hijos como 10 veces y como si nada, no se les caen las hojas, sí lucen naturales y los compré a excelente precio. Muy recomendables, sobre todo si te encantan las plantas grandes y no tienes tiempo de mantener las naturales de interior.Tree was too big to fit in the Box. The top half a foot of tree and leaves was bent so that it would fit. Upon removing it that top portion is permanently bent. Tree doesn't really look like the picture, is not as full. A lot of the leaves need manipulation to look good. They are still kind of bent and mashed looking still. Going to try and steam them since they are apparently made of silk, hoping that will help. If not we'll be returning. Not worth the money.
